Magnolia Pictures have announced that “Melancholia” will be released on Video On Demand (VOD) in America on October 7th. The film will then be released in US cinemas on November 11th. You might remember that the film was screened at a cinema in Los Angeles for one week last month; this was done so that the film could be released on VOD before it’s full cinematic release & still qualify to be considered for next years Academy Awards.
Melancholia will be screened at the New York Film Festival which runs from September 30th to October 16th.
