Kirsten Nominated For European Film Award

I’m delighted to report that Kirsten has been nominated in the Best Actress Award category at this years 24th European Film Awards. The awards are the european equivalent of the Academy Awards & Kirsten has been nominated for her performance in “Melancholia” as has her co-star Charlotte Gainsbourg. Also nominated in this category are Tilda Swinton, Cecile de France & Nadezhda Markina.

Melancholia has received eight nominations in total, including nominations for Best Film & Best Director. Here is the full list of all this years nominees. The Awards Ceremony will be held in Berlin on December 3rd.
