Melancholia is out in the UK at the end of the month, so there's not long to wait to see Kiki's Best Actress Award winning performance. We're very excited to attend the premiere! Until next time, have a good one.

KIRSTEN NEWS

Kirsten In Wonderland = Kirsten is on the cover of the new issue of Wonderland magazine. The magazine features a sexy photoshoot of Kirsten by photographer Miguel Reveriego & an interesting interview with her. The magazine went on sale in the UK on August 26th & will be out in the U.S in early September.

VS Covers Kirsten = Kirsten is also on the cover of the Fall/Winter 2011 issue of VS Magazine. The magazine goes on sale in early September.

HotelMotel Opening = On August 10th Kirsten attended the opening night of "HotelMotel" at the Gershwin Hotel in New York. The production features two short plays "Animals & Plants" & "Pink Knees on Pale Skin".

Our Idiot Brother Screening = On August 22nd Kirsten attended a special screening of the film "Our Idiot Brother". The screening was held at 1 MiMA Tower in New York.

MOVIE NEWS

Melancholia Heads To Toronto = "Melancholia" will be screened at this years Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The film will be screened at the Ryerson Theatre on Saturday September 10th at 6pm & also at the same venue on Saturday September 17th at 2.45pm. Kirsten is expected to attend the September 10th screening.

And London = The UK Premiere of "Melancholia" will be held at 6.30pm on wednesday September 28th at the Curzon Mayfair Theatre in London. Kirsten & John Hurt are both scheduled to attend the premiere & will also be taking part in a Q&A session after the screening. The film will go on general release in UK cinemas on September 30th.

And New York = Melancholia will be screened at the New York Film Festival which runs from September 30th to October 16th. So far no date has been announced for the Melancholia screening but Kirsten is expected to attend the screening.

Bachelorette Begins = Filming of "Bachelorette" began in New York in late August. As expected Kirsten will be playing the role of Regan in the film. Two additions to the previously rumoured cast are Isla Fisher as Katie & Rebel Wilson, who is replacing Casey Wilson in the role of Becky.

VOD For Melancholia = Magnolia Pictures have announced that "Melancholia" will be released on Video On Demand (VOD) in America on October 7th. The film will then be released in US cinemas on November 11th.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Kirsten is expected to attend the Screening of Melancholia at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 10th. She will also be attending the UK Premiere of Melancholia in London on September 28th.
