KIRSTEN NEWS

Hooray For Hollyshorts = On August 6th Kirsten attended the opening night of the "Hollyshorts Film Festival" at the Directors Guild Theatre in Los Angeles. A tribute to cameraman Darren Lew was held with the screening of three short films he has worked on, including Kirstens directorial debut "Welcome". Darren has also worked with Kirsten on the US Election documentary she made last year with Jacob Soboroff.

Japanese Girl = Kirsten travelled to Japan to shoot a music video with "Terminator Salvation" director McG. The video was filmed in Akiabara Electric Town in Tokyo on August 27th. The anime-inspired "pop" video, which features Kirsten in a cute anime-style "Japanese Schoolgirl" outfit, will be shown later this year as part of an exhibition at the Tate Modern in London. On August 29th Kirsten attended a reception party to mark the opening of the Tokyo flagship store of fashion brand "Opening Ceremony". Also in attendance was Kirstens good friend Jason Schwartzman & his new wife.

Dateline Dunst = This month Kirsten has been "romantically linked" with a 22 year old guy she allegedly met whilst on holiday in Mississippi, & also several of her brother Christians friends! LOL you couldn't make this stuff up.

MOVIE NEWS

Spidey 4ever? = Reports suggest that writer James Vanderbilt has been hired by Sony to write screenplays for two more Spider-Man films. If this is true it's likely that these films will mark a "revamp" of the franchise, as it's expected that director Sam Raimi and the original cast will call it quits after Spider-Man 4. However a "revamp" was also widely rumoured after Spider-Man 3.......
