The film will be directed by Walter Salles, who directed “The Motorcycle Diaries”, & who has been pencilled in to direct the film since 2005. The script is being written by “Motorcycle Diaries” screenwriter Jose Rivera.Already confirmed to appear in the film are Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley & Kristen Stewart.Kirsten was first linked with this film in 2007 when it was rumoured she would be playing the part of Camille (a character based on Jack Kerouac’s wife Carolyn Cassady).
