Earlier today Kirsten & Sofia Coppola visited the AOL Build Studios in New York where they took part in a discussion about “The Beguiled”. Here’s the video.

Last night the New York Times hosted a special screening of “The Beguiled”. After the screening Kirsten & Sofia Coppola took part in a 30 minute conversation about the film. Here’s the video (the conversation starts at 3 minutes 20 seconds).

This morning Kirsten was interviewed on “The Today Show”. Here’s a video of the interview.

Sofia Coppola was a guest on “The Late, Late Show with James Corden” on Monday. During the interview a short video of Kirsten & Elle Fanning doing “Girls Gone Wild 1863” was shown. Here’s the clip from the show. Warning the video is NSFW……in 1863!

On May 23rd a special 70th Anniversary Photocall was held at the Cannes Film Festival. The photocall featured a who’s who of actors & directors. Kirsten attended the photocall & I’ve added 50 pics to the gallery & also posted a video of the photocall below.

Later that day a 70th Anniversary Gala was also held. Unfortunately Kirsten was unable to attend as she had been taken ill with food poisoning. Thankfully she had recovered enough overnight to be able to attend the photocall, press conference & premiere for “The Beguiled”.

Congratulations to Sofia Coppola on winning the Best Director award at the Cannes Film Festival, & also to Nicole Kidman for being awarded the special 70th Anniversary Prize.

Here’s the official video of director Sofia Coppola & the cast receiving a standing ovation at the end of the screening of “The Beguiled” in Cannes. The video also shows them departing the Theatre. Jesse (who sat behind Kirsten during the screening) looks very dapper in his suit!
